Mark your calendars for the 67th Bi-Annual Outdoor Adventure Expo! Hosted by Midwest Mountaineering, “The Expo” has over 60 exhibitors and more than 100 presentations by experts in a multitude of fields: parks and trails, high-adrenaline adventure, nature conservation, and of course, travel. Chat with fellow adventure travel and outdoor enthusiasts, learn about new gear, and find great deals.
This three-day event has free admission and easy parking, so you have lots of time to get excited about planning your next adventure! The Expo is Friday, November 16th to Sunday, November 18th: Friday from 2:00pm-9:30pm, Saturday from 9:00am-6:30pm, and Sunday from 10:00am-5:00pm. This presentation will offer jaw-dropping images of the region’s incredible natural beauty from a variety of both active Patagonia expeditions and luxury Patagonia vacations, and will also offer practical advice on traveling through this vast area of wilderness and cultural intrigue.
The Galapagos Islands, some 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, is one of the most unique, pristine, and remarkable destinations in the world. Ecuador is home to nearly every ecosystem imaginable. Visits to Ecuador can include cloud forest, Andean Highlands, historic haciendas, remote indigenous communities, volcanoes, Amazon Jungle, colonial cities, and of course, the famed Galapagos Islands.
This presentation will show astounding photos of the Galapagos Islands and mainland Ecuador, as well as share practical advice on everything from picking the perfect Galapagos cruise for you to where to go in mainland Ecuador and how to plan the perfect itinerary.
