DAY 4 • UYUNI SALT FLATS
Today you’ll explore a wide range of what Uyuni Salt Flats have to offer. First visit the Chantani Museum, perched aside the impressie Tunupa Volcano. This museum was created by a native local entrepreneur who hoped to chronicle the cultures of the salt flat communities. Afterwards, bicycle into the north of the flats, stopping to see the Coquesa Mummies, preserved by the dry air since 1200 BC. On this side there are several small communities, giving you the chance to interact with llama shepherds and quinoa farmers.
