This trip ranks as one of my favorite trips ever! The Inca Trail was challenging but rewarding, filled with breathtaking vistas and amazing sites brought to life by Max – he was so knowledgeable and I appreciated having a local guide. We avoided most of the crowds due to your unique itinerary.

Our trip could not have been better.  You attended to every detail, no matter how small. Being met at every airport, hot tea and water in the van, all the charming hotels.  How special you made Tripp’s birthday 3 times during the day!  All our guides and drivers, the experience in Amaru and the Amazon.  And of course our guide, Harry, who really is the best!

I have organized travel groups for over 25 years and Knowmad Adventures is one of the best trip operators I have worked with.  They recently put together a trip to Chile and Argentina for me and the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum that was exciting, fun, and one that was appreciated by all of our 19 participants. The trip was a 10 out of 10! Perfect in every way.  Thank you, thank you for organizing every detail.  It went without a hitch.  The girls loved Explora.  They said that with every experience there was a reward at the end…salt lagoon, hot springs, food, wine.  They were able to see that adventure vacations are much more rewarding that sitting on a beach getting burned.  So valuable to see that at their young age.

What an unforgettable trip. It was such a well-thought out combination between comfort and adventure with a glimpse into another culture that we couldn’t have gotten any other way. Thanks Knowmad!

Everything went perfectly and we enjoyed every element of the trip.  The guides were all excellent, everyone was always on-time and the hotels were exactly what we wanted.  The Estancia turned out to be exceptional and I would say a highlight—the real thing, and right in the park.  We ate the trout we caught one day for dinner and everyone loved the horse riding.  We especially liked Roberto doing the W, a great hiking guide, and Arianna, in BA, very knowledgeable about the history and the City. I would say the unanimous judgment was one of the best trip we have ever taken.

Thanks for the organization, the trip was excellent! Everything went well and I had a great time. The areas you suggested are beautiful. My guides were very knowledgeable. I’m traveling to Bolivia and Peru next year and I will surely plan it with you.

We had a wonderful time! It was a great adventure, all connections were seamless, and all the guides were fabulous.

All the activities were wonderfully coordinated to mix physical activity with sightseeing to give us a “backstage pass” to the Chilean culture. What a great setting for a family reunion!
